The separation wall that Israel is building in Hebron is being continued after a 12 year halt in construction after the wall was ruled to be in violation of international law in 2004. Illegal Israeli settlements are growing in number where the wall is located and Israel is sighting that the wall is necessary as a security measure, however it seems to be used to isolate Palestinian land into Israeli control.
