Hamas is the Palestinian group which resides in the Gaza Strip. The leader of Hamas has released a document accepting the pre-war 1967 borders for Palestine as the true borders for a Palestinian state. This group is considered a terrorist organization by the United States’ government and does not acknowledge Israel as a state in this document.
