Lack of food and water, ambulances blocked as Israel lays siege to Jenin | Israel-Palestine conflict News | Al Jazeera

Israeli troops have taken over the streets of the West Bank city of Jenin. The city was an important refugee camp that provided basic necessities such as food, water, and access to medical care provided by Doctors Without Borders. As of now, it is said that over 70% of the city has been bulldozed and destroyed by the Israeli Army. The camp laid home to over 20,000 Palestinians, and the taking over of this camp has been coined a “war crime” as many are left without access to food or water. Along with the destruction and looting of the camp, many residents were interrogated and subjected to harsh treatment. Not only were residents interrogated, but volunteers from Doctors Without Borders were subjected to interrogation as well and forced to stop treatments on patients. At least 24 people were also killed as a result of the military invasion.
