Syrian officials say that some rockets were intercepted, however, the strikes killed 16 and wounded 36. Some sources reported a couple of chemical arms research centers in Masyaf, in the Hama province, were hit, but the Syrian government denied such claims.
A senior Syrian military official claims the target was a “well-known research facility” and that it had done damage to nearby residential areas.
