On Saturday, the Israeli military conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah’s “weapons storage facilities” in Lebanon, resulting in injuries to four individuals, three of whom were children according to the Lebanese health ministry. The strikes targeted the outskirts of Al-Kawakh and shops in Sareen among other locations. The Israel Defense Force confirmed these strikes and stated that there were seven additional strikes in southern Lebanon, also aimed at Hezbollah “weapons storage facilities”. The IDF stated that these attacks were in response to a reported barrage of 55 projectiles fired from Lebanon into the Upper Galilee and Galilee areas earlier that same Saturday morning.
