In an internet search for basic maps of the Israel/Palestine region the other day, the majority of the images it returned were pro-Palestine and showed what appears to be continuous land decreases for the Palestinian State since the 1940s. This is interesting to note considering how in class we have discussed that the history of land ownership in the region in addition to the concept of statehood is more nuanced than many sources and the wider public acknowledges today. I thought I would share the most biased:
*Note the second to last map subtly labeled with “lies” that tries to point out the official ownership of land from the 1940s onward.
