Jerusalem’s Juvenile District Court indicted two Arab teenagers with a charge of “attempted murder” and the “possession of illegal weapons” as the two are suspected to be responsible for an attack that occurred by the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City (Eisenbud). The victim of the stabbing was a 17-year-old Jewish American-Israeli male who “made [his] aliya” from Brooklyn, New York. The two Arab teenagers have at least one known accomplice, an 11-year-old, who at the moment is not being prosecuted as “his young age [prevents his prosecution]” for his involvement.
The article provided no quotes or retorts for the accused suspects which raises questions about the bias of the article although the age of the suspects could explain the hidden nature of their identities.
