I found this article on Markaz, the scholarly news blog published by Brookings, where Khaled Elgindy discusses the nature of the recent Palestinian violence (as seen in the VICE videos) in Israel and the extreme disconnect that exists between Palestinians and Palestinian leadership.
The article is part of a series called “Debating Israeli-Palestinian Futures” and addresses the current political landscape regarding Israel – Palestine.
