The Arab League has sided with the Palestinians in refusing to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that both Palestinian Arab dismissals of the plans are the “root of the conflict”.He also wants Palestinians to recognize Israel as the Jewish homeland.
The international community has recognized the Palestinian refugees right of return and there is no reason why Israel should not recognize this.
Netanyahu says “The root of the conflict is the consistent refusal to accept the existence of an independent nation state for the Jewish people.”
