In class we talked about the never-ending peace process, and in he news a couple of days ago I saw that France wanted to reinvigorate the peace process but Netanyahu is declining talks with third party mediation. He claims that he wants a bilateral peace agreement. It reminds me of how the Oslo Accords were one of the few agreements made between the PLO and the Israeli government by themselves albeit outside of Israel. There’s no telling when Netanyahu plans to hold these talks, but there is speculation (read: dread) from the PLO as to main directives to be presented.
