“How the modern Middle East map came to be drawn” by David Fromkin

Very good summary of what we read for homework, but it goes into a bit more detail, looking at how these decisions shape politics today. It’s a tad dated (1991) but the points are still valid. It’s a really cool article that I recommend to anyone interested in middle eastern history, politics, or world events in general.
