Basically, the president of Israel Reuvin Rivlin has called on Israeli government to annex the territories that it holds sovereignty over and grant all of its subject citizenship. He calls it the “Land of Zion”, and wants Israel to take control of all the land that they controlled during the Six Days War, which would include East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Golan Heights in Syria. He was also very critical of the new settlement laws, because he wants the state of Israel to only pass laws that have consequences for territories where Israel decides to exercise its power of sovereignty. “If we extend sovereignty over all, then the laws should be applied equally to all.”
