Israeli Prime Minister Asserts Divestment and Sanctions Movement Seeks to End Jewish State

With increasing pressure on Israel by Europe, Binyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, claims that the Boycott Divestment Sanctions (BDS) movement is a modern form of anti-antisemitism seeking to end the Jewish state.  Additionally, Netanyahu sees some supporters of the BDS movement trying to put pressure on the illegal settlements in the territories occupied during the war of 1967 while other BDS supporters see it as a way to dismantle the Jewish single state in favor of a new one.  Despite the increasing pressures of the boycotts, Netanyahu believes that Israel is not quite yet effectively blacklisted as new businesses coming to Israel for their scientific innovations and technology.
