Israeli police shot and killed Mohammed Elasibi, a 26 year old man from Hura, outside the Al Aqsa Mosque compound. Police reports state that Elasibi attempted to grab the gun of one of the officers, so the officers “neutralized him on the spot.” Eyewitnesses, however, claim that Elasibi was stepping into an altercation between the officers an a woman who was being mistreated by the officers and that he never reached for the gun. Elasibi’s family is requesting the release of police camera footage.
