A recent Bill has been unanimously approved by Israel’s cabinet. A basic overview of the Bill is that it will give permission to the Israeli Government to occupy all Palestinian settlements on the West Bank. The Palestinians whom own the settlements will be entitled to financial compensation but will not retain ownership of the settlements. The Bill must be approved two more times before it becomes law.
